Before the war in their lands, like every child, all they had to do was go to the school or play with their friends. All of a sudden their lives became completely different.

These children, apart from their own countries, who are trying to exist in other lands, are exposed to hate speech by being ignored as children. "Look Like a Child" is a project developed against this hate speech.

My name is Robin. I am 12 years old…

"I came from Aleppo. We came here in 2015. Only me, my father and my brother speak Turkish. 5 families live in the same house. We came together from Aleppo. I do not remember much. The income is very tired. It's very difficult. We came from a dark place. The soldiers will catch us if we make noise. My brother works with my mother. They sew pants and sell them. My daddy crippled, the car hit the road.

When we move, we will have my only room, my mother will get a bed. I will have a lot of books in my room because I love books very much. I want a wall to be pink when it's my room. I will fill them all with a heart. I will have photos. On my birthday, I say to everyone; Don't bring me toys. Because I grew up. Just bring me the story books...”
